The grandest Catholic social event of the year – the Newman Society’s President’s Dinner – took place on 29th November 2019.
The evening began with a Sung Pontifical Mass in the Chapel of St Thomas More at the Catholic Chaplaincy followed by a drinks reception. A seven-course black tie dinner (with plenty of wine) was served in the Newman Room. We were delighted to be joined by The Right Reverend Monsignor Keith Newton P.A. as our celebrant at Mass and our After-Dinner Speaker. A great time was had by all and dancing continued late into the night!
