Welcome to the NEWMAN SOCIETY
The Newman Society promotes the Catholic Faith in the University of Oxford. In 1878, Oxford’s Catholics established the Society as a means of renewing the Church’s life in the University. Since then, the Society has continued this mission, working alongside the Catholic Chaplaincy and other local churches.
Every term the Society organises a wide range of events for its members: spiritual, intellectual, and social. Check what is on!
